Our app allows them to choose one another based on performance. Employers can post one or multiple shifts and workers can apply for jobs on the app and work when it fits their schedule. job description

Bacon has current operations in the following states: Utah, Texas, Idaho, Wisconsin, and Indiana. As we seek to expand into additional states this year, the Marketing Specialist will be key to executing Bacon's new market strategy. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing team and other departments to launch areas, acquire workers, and attract clients.

The Marketing Specialist will be engaged in the strategy, execution, and optimization of Bacon's marketing campaigns that encourage app downloads, increase user activity, and promote our service to businesses. This individual will fill a data-driven, yet creative role that will be a hybrid of strategy and creativity.

responsibilities

  • Provide value and insight in all marketing efforts--from developing strategy, producing creative, and analyzing performance
  • Build out complete nurture paths employing market segmentation and targeting to drive new business leads and new app users
  • Assist in the creative development and execution of Bacon’s marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the development of a content repository--including blogs, case studies, social media posts, and more
  • Analyze content and campaign performance to make data-driven decisions around where to invest marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to concept and execute marketing campaigns
  • 3-6 month commitment
  • 20 hrs/week minimum

required skills

  • Analytically minded: Capable to take initiative when it comes to making data-driven decisions that impact marketing performance
  • Creative: ability to produce creative and a strong understanding of design
  • Writing for social media and content
  • Confident digital marketer
  • Proficient in the various paid advertising platforms (Facebook, Google, Youtube, LinkedIn, Snapchat)
  • Content creation: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (Intermediate)
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of excel is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
